Peyton's 1st Bath!

After 8 weeks and 3 days Peyton was finally able to have her first bath.  We saw a surgeon on Friday for Peyton's stubborn umbilical cord.  He took liquid nitrate to it for the 3rd time and poked and prodded at it for a while, sure he would get it to come off in his office. It didn't. But, on Saturday morning it finally broke off and Peyton was able to have her 1st real bath!

There is still a possibility that Peyton will have to have surgery.  We are praying all will heal nicely and nothing further will have to be done!  We go back to the surgeon on Friday September 21st for a follow-up.

The happy girl knowing she will smell like a foot no longer!

Getting ready to be dipped in the water for the first time. Will she scream her head off?

Not at all, she loves this bath thing!

Big Sister Emily looking on and wanting to help. (Nice bed head Emily!)

Peyton hanging out in the tub and enjoying her bath.

All clean, relaxed and smelling good!!
