Sharing

We celebrated Peyton's 1st Birthday on Saturday (Pictures coming soon, promise). Anyway, Emily is very excited about all the presents Peyton received and is having a hard time sharing them. In the last 2 days the girls have fought over toys more than they ever have.

Chris was just having a conversation with Emily about the toys being Peyton's birthday presents and that she needs to let her sister have a chance to play with them. This is after both girls screaming while Emily was sitting on Peyton's new ride on tow and had a death grip on a new baby doll and purse.

While Emily was sitting on Chris's lap still clutching Peyton's new baby doll and purse, Chris asked her to pick one toy to play with and giver her sister a chance with the other. Emily looked Chris in the eye and said so seriously, "But I need two. I need the purse and the baby because we are going somewhere."

It was truly one of those moments where you are trying to discipline your child and they say something that just makes you want to laugh!
