We are so thankful to have our family here to celebrate Thanksgiving with this year.
In the morning we headed to Cracker Barrel to have breakfast with my Dad and Linda. After a quick trip back home to pick up the mashed potatoes Chris had made and a brief nap for Peyton we headed over to my Mom's house for the big meal. We were joined by Chris's family as well at my Mom's house. We enjoyed a delicious feast with all the fixings, but most of all we enjoyed being with each other.
My Mom had gotten all the kids matching outfits again this year. So, we attempted to get a decent picture of all four kids together once again. You might remember the picture from last year were two of the four were crying. This year the challenge was keeping them all from walking out of the picture.
After we at the kids played out on the porch for hours. At one point we were summoned to all come outside and bring our cameras. They had built a rocket ship and were ready to blast of to the moon.
Shortly afterward we packed up in our own rocket ship or van and blasted off towards our beds. Both the girls were fast asleep before we made it home.
It was the perfect ending to a great day!
