On the Move!

It's official.  Our life is entering a new phase.  Peyton has learned to crawl AND pull up to standing within a day of each other.  The crawling began on Easter Sunday and by Monday morning she was pulling herself up to standing.  She has been doing the one armed army crawl for quite some time.  That along with her amazing rolling abilities, I didn't think her learning to crawl would change things much.  Boy was I wrong!

She is FAST and into everything now.  It is funny to watch her finally get to places that she probably has been longing to get into for awhile now.  She is very interested in the steps and LOVES to pull up to standing on the bottom one.  She also loves shoes and makes a beeline for them any time she sees one in her reach.  She seemed to be most excited to get into the toy closet where her sister spends a lot of time in.  (I had to go through all the toys and baby proof everything.  Emily was not happy about some of her things being put up!)

The biggest change is how much happier she is now.  She had been going through a real fussy phase lately.  We thought it was the flu or teething, but now we think it was just the frustration of not being able to get where she wanted to go.
