Our Little Climber

So, as you see from Chris's post last night life has become quite interesting in our home. I was at work and recieved a call from Chris telling me to check the blog to see what our little one was up to and was greeted by a picture of her sitting on our end table. Peyton has turned into a little monkey in the last week, climing on everything!

Recently we took our big table out of the house so we could make room for the girls Kangaroo Climber and Slide inside. The weather has been RIDICULOUSLY hot and/or rainy lately. This coupled with my most recent severe allergic reaction to a fire ant bite, we decided to bring a little outdoor fun inside for the girls. Because of this, we put our bench against the wall underneath our kitchen bar. It didn't take Peyton long to climb up on that at all. Thinking we could out smart our 1 year old, we turned the bench around, so she couldn't climb on it. We were wrong......

It always starts off with crying, to see if we'll just put her up on whatever she wants.


Then there is the look of shear determination to pull herself up by herself accompanied by the crying so that we know she is not happy about it.
