Cade's Cove

While we were in TN we spent a day in Cade's Cove which is one of the earliest settlements in the Smoky Mountains. It is now apart of the Smoky Mountain National Park. There are a number of original cabins and other buildings that were used to help the earlier settlers farm the land. While we were there we also saw a TON of wild life including: black bears (mama's with their cubs), wild turkeys, deer, snakes, butterflies, and a variety of birds. Between the wildlife, history and breathtaking views of the mountains, this was by far one of our favorite days of the vacation. We took over 500 pictures, so it was REALLY hard to narrow it down to just a few to post here. Enjoy!
