We went to Christmas Lane in Dover, FL on Saturday in hopes of seeing Santa and taking a photo. Turns out Santa doesn't arrive until December 15th. No big deal, there were lots of other beautiful Christmas decorations to snap a picture of the girls in front of. Unfortunately the girls had other plans. They wanted to run around and look at all the lights and displays instead of stand still to get their picture taken. Peyton was exhausted and standing still was not in the cards for her. So, we left Christmas Lane having enjoyed the lights without the picture we hoped for.
On Sunday Chris had a stroke of genius to get the picture we wanted. He went out and got some Christmas cookies, filled a plate with the cookies, sat it down in front of the tree and the girls sat still and ate cookies in the cute Christmas outfits while we snapped away! We even got a few good smiles out of them.
We took over 175 pictures between Saturday and Sunday to get the one you see above!
